Polar Bear 2001

Despite some chilly weather many club members arrived at the field undaunted by the snow. Several had made preparations to their planes with the removal of wheels and placement of skis. John Padgitt, club treasurer had the honor of the first flight of the new century with the club's trainer plane. Inside it was good and warm with the new Celotex ceiling and all of the walls closed in with plastic sheeting. With a couple heaters going we all enjoyed the community chili that everyone contributed a little something to and had a great day of flying. Below are some pictures that were taken during the day, just click on any of them to enlarge and use your back button to come back and choose another.
