Polar Bear 2002

Polar Bear 2002 turned out a large crowd this year and who wouldn't show up to witness a heated outhouse?? Yes, with the extra heater we heated the outhouse to make the day highly enjoyable and warm. The newly installed garage door panels helped to keep the pavilion very warm for those inside enjoying the community chili. Most everyone brought their own special chili but it all ended up in the same gigantic pot. Overall sentiments on the chili was that it was very good although some thought it was a little spicy for their tastes.

It was a great day to fly though when you weren't stuffing your face with chili or downing hot chocolate to keep warm. It turned out to be a very sunny day with little to no wind at most times and almost reached the 35 degree mark.
