GPS Guided Truck Pictures

Side view of truck with Garmin ETrex unit installed on top of blue radioshack project box. The 2 nine volt batteries are the power for the Stamp and the serial servo controller. Enclosed in the box is the battery to run all of the servos. The battery to run the truck motor can be seen as the blue item in the middle of the truck. The spring suspension on the truck was upgraded twice with springs from ace hardware, the first ones were not strong enough..... Truck ended up weighing over five or six pounds, weight definitely needs to be reduced for airplane usage.

Straight side view of truck, yellow post is holding antenna for receiver unit. Large turf tires used to propel through grassy terrain. 

Top view, most notable is the radio receiver mounted on top of project box at top of screen. Below that is the mini servo plugged into the extra channel of the receiver, that servo is linked to the automotive toggle switch which runs the relays which controlled steering and speed. Garmin Etrex is also quite visible (the big yellow thing).
